Applications for issuing Schengen visas in Russia and Ukraine can apply not only to the Embassy of Lithuania, but also in the 28 visa centers.
On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed an agreement with VFS Global to provide visa services centers in Russia and Ukraine.
The company, which was selected through open competition, will provide services in 28 centers in Russia and the Ukraine.
Applications for visas can be accessed in the following Russian cities: Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Samara, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Ufa, Vladivostok, Irkutsk and Khabarovsk. In Ukraine, petitions for visas will be taken in Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Rivne, Lutsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky and Simferopol.
Some visa centers will be operational in mid-March, the other - in the beginning of April.
In Russia, the services on registration application for a visa in the visa centers will be worth 18 euros (62.1 LTL) without the collection of biometric data and 20 euros (69 LTL) with the collection of biometric data. In Ukraine, the service will cost 19.50 euros (67.27 Lt) and 21.50 euros (74.1 Lt), respectively.
Passport with a Schengen visa issued by the Embassy can be picked up at the visa regime, and for an additional fee courier will present a paper at the address.
