The draft law that has been recently developed allows citizens from 10 countries – USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, UAE, Korea and Japan, are free of any visa requirements for 15 days since arriving in the country since July 15, 2014, till July 15, 2015,First Deputy of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Rapil Zhoshybayev informed at the CCS media briefing.
“This initiative is aimed at strengthening of bilateral relations, creation of favorable conditions for potential investors, foreign businessmen and attraction of tourists to Kazakhstan,” R. Zhoshybayev said.
As he noted, the visa-free regime functions equally for all people of these 10 countries willing to visit our country in order to sign contracts, visit family, familiarize with the culture of Kazakhstan, visit some historical and natural monuments and sights of our country for 15 days since arriving here. Moreover, there is no limit set for the number of visits.
“This will also allow Kazakhstan to actively develop the tourism sphere. Besides, the multiplicative effect is expected in the field of development of small and medium business, creation of new jobs and income for the budget,” he added.
