Citizenship Oath-taking Ceremony at Beregszász (Berehove) Consulate Legal, Says Analyst

The Hungarian consul who can be seen in a leaked video overseeing Ukrainian citizens taking Hungarian citizenship oaths at the Hungarian consulate in Beregszász (Berehove) did not violate any of Ukraine’s laws by conducting the ceremony, a retired academic at the Ukrainian academy of sciences has said.

Cyprus gas field to supply EU

Egypt and Cyprus signed a bilateral agreement for the construction of an underwater pipeline to export natural gas to Egypt. The deal was signed at the presidential palace by Energy Minister Yiorgos Lakkotrypis and Egypt’s Oil Minister Tarek el Molla. Cypriot gas will then be treated by an Egyptian refinery, to be sold to third parties.

Uzbekistan will ensure implementation of the nuclear power plant construction project in strict accordance with IAEA recommendations and in compliance with international norms and rules in this area, the President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Bekhzod Yuldashev said at the 62nd session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
