Leader of the presidential campaign Poroshenko said that the priority of the new government is bound to be a course for European integration.
He told a briefing at his headquarters, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I confirm that the priority of the new government will be European integration. I remind that it was also supported by election participants, interviewed by us. Before the inauguration, there will be preparation for the agenda. During the first week of my work at the post of President, in the first place, the activities will be active in this respect," Poroshenko said.
He also added that the priorities of the new government will be the return of Crimea to Ukraine, corruption, conflict in the south- eastern region.
Poroshenko added that "even before his inauguration, high level meetings will be held with the EU leadership to discuss Ukraine's European integration."
