Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to convene on March 7 in Bishkek

The members of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council approved the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which will be held on March 7 in Bishkek.

The Eurasian Economic Commission Council held a meeting on March 3 in Moscow at the level of the Vice Priem Ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov presided at the event after Kyrgyzstan take over Eurasian Economic Commission Council chairmanship since 2017.

Representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, ministers of the Eurasian Economic Commission participated in the meeting.

The discussions were constructive and decisions were made on several important issues, Oleg Pankratov said upon conclusion of the meeting.

“A broad range of issues regarding Eurasian integration was discussed. Resolution of these issues will facilitate deepening and strengthening of integration processes of the Eurasian Economic Union member states in trade and economic spheres,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
